POP & FILM COLLIDE

Some pages here on the way pop and rock music reference or sample 60s films; I just started this as I wanted to find an excuse to put the two TV Personalities songs on the website, then realised that this was the obvious place to put my research findings into Saint Etienne samples.  The stuff on The Smiths has its own page elsewhere on the site.

The Squeeze single has little to do with the book and film of Up the Junction (a film I intend to write about soon on the book-to-film adaptations section), but again just an example of the cross-referencing.
